What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

our mission

To give life, share hope, and SEE LIVES transformED through the power of Jesus Christ!

Solid Rock is a L.I.F.E giving church

WE want to see people become all that God has created them to be.

L

Love God

The greatest privilege and purpose of our lives is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). This love is the foundation of everything we do - it inspires our worship, guides our actions, and motivates our service.

By loving God wholeheartedly, we draw closer to His presence, reflect His character, and live as faithful followers of Jesus Christ in the world.

I

Invest in Relationships

Loving God naturally leads to loving people (John 13:34-35). Relationships are the essence of discipleship, and without them, true spiritual growth cannot occur. At Solid Rock, we are committed to establishing and experiencing biblically authentic community – a place where people feel loved, valued and safe.
As a church, we are dedicated to building lasting connections and genuine friendships. By investing time, energy, and care into relationships—with God, one another, and our community—we create an environment where individuals can thrive, experience belonging, and grow together in unity and purpose.

F

Find a Ministry

We believe every person has been uniquely gifted by God to serve others and advance His kingdom (1 Peter 4:10). At Solid Rock, we embrace the proposition that saved people serve people!
Because we are committed to empowering a church full of servant leaders, we passionately seek to help individuals discover their God-given gifts and connect them to ministries where they can use these talents to make an eternal impact. Jesus said He came not to be served but to serve - if this was the heartbeat of Jesus, it must also be the heartbeat of Solid Rock Church.

E

Engage the World

Jesus has called us to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13-16). One driving question we must ask ourselves is: How can I use my one and only life to transform the world around me? We believe our lives find true meaning and significance only when we embrace and fulfill God’s purpose for it.
As a church, we are devoted to reaching beyond our walls to meet both the spiritual and practical needs of our community and the world. By being a tangible expression of Christ’s love and power, we inspire hope, bring transformation, and make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

What We Believe

The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26).
The Trinity
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was fully God and fully man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory. (John 1:1,14, 20:28; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; I Timothy 2:5).
Water Baptism
Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new convert is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48).
