It's a growth process that begins the moment you attend!

Love God through Worship.
Chances are your first taste of Solid Rock will come through a worship service. Worshiping the Lord is essential to the LIFE of every believer. That's why we focus our Sunday morning services and Wednesday Night Café on worshiping our God and King! It's our goal that regulars, and first time visitors alike, come together to experience the presence and power of God that flows through a sold out worship of Him! Spirit-filled worship often provides healing, restoration and a starting point to a new LIFE with Christ. You can see why we want everyone to be a part of this important first step, loving God through worship, but it doesn't stop there. The next step to continue growing in Christ is:

Invest in Relationships through LIFE Groups.
There's not a better way to meet friends than to get involved in a LIFE group. LIFE groups focus on relationship building and in depth studies of Christian topics. Why do we put so much emphasis on relationships? Because it's always better to face LIFE with a friend than to be alone. There's power in teamwork! In a LIFE Group, you can learn from each other and with each other.

What happens in a LIFE Group? Well, three facets of a LIFE Group are chat, study and pray. A typical gathering may work like this: First, talk it up and get to know each other. Some groups may have discussion teasers that help motivate conversation within their groups. Second, the study would begin. Some groups may be topically driven, while others may be book driven. Regardless, you choose the group that best suits you. Lastly, every group will have a time devoted to taking prayer requests and praying together.

Most LIFE Groups meet on Sunday mornings at 10:15; however, some groups may meet at other times throughout the week. This is primarily due to space limitations on Sunday mornings, plus the availability of Sunday morning schedules. Knowing when the group is offered will help you select the right one for you and your family.

Find a Ministry through Service.
There's no doubt that after committing yourself to worship and getting involved in a LIFE group that you will be growing yourself as a Christian. The question is, what will you do with all that you are learning? The next step in the growth process is finding a ministry where you can become an active servant, using what you are learning to impact and assist others. There are many areas and ministries in which to serve. Some positions may require background checks and/or a recommendation from key leaders. Engaging the World through Our Witness.
It's important to show the world what God has been doing in your life. Friends and family need to see the joy and happiness that comes through salvation. They may not come to church, so we have to bring church to them. Jesus calls us all to be witnesses in Matthew 28:19, "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

Solid Rock has programs for facilitating this step to include world missions giving and going, organized local outreach events, and volunteerism designed to impact our community.
